Background

Gershwin is the first residential district to be completed in Zuidas. It is comparable in size to recent developments elsewhere in the city such as KNSM Island.

Its development represents an important stage in that of the district as a whole to become a lively, vital urban centre in its own right. There will be approximately 1,300 units in all price categories, from the unbridled luxury of Amsterdam Symphony to the affordable rental units of the Django Building.

Gershwin is in the southern part of Zuidas and is bounded by De Boelelaan, Buitenveldertselaan, Gustav Mahlerlaan and Beethovenstraat.
